Player Ratings: England Triumph Sealed by Harry Kane's Double in International Qualifying Match

In a commanding display, England clinched a further victory versus Albania, with multiple squad members turning in notable displays during the match.

First-choice Lineup

The goalkeeper Had little to do to perform before the break but then forced to intervene by an opponent's curled attempt. His sliding challenge against an Albanian attacker demonstrated sharp reading of the game. 6/10

Jarell Quansah Examined by Albania’s primary attacker in Hoxha. Started in a central role to begin with later drifted out wide once a teammate was introduced. Seven

The defender Moved into midfield when in possession, something he's known for before. On occasion was too casual on the ball and the experiment was shelved by the interval. 6/10

The tall defender Always dangerous from dead balls, as always, but may be another option for his teammate in the backline instead of his partner. A loose pass after the break came close to the first goal from Albania. 6/10

Nico O’Reilly One more assured showing by the 20-year-old after his initial appearance versus Serbia. A teammate did not capitalize on the opportunity from an exquisite touch over the Albania defence. The left-back spot is firmly his already. 7/10

The newcomer His first start for his country. Somewhat sloppy when playing out but his dangerous set-pieces caused problems. An effective pace-controller available to the manager to have versus teams who drop deep. Booked for a rash tackle. Six

Declan Rice Deliveries from dead balls and free kicks were dangerous. Had room to move on the left only to be offside upon receiving in front of goal. Given a merited rest around the 60-minute point. 6/10

Jude Bellingham Played in a high position down the right and also did plenty of dirty work. Showed flashes of quality and dragged a shot wide. Withdrawn towards the end by Rogers, his rival, following a yellow card. Seven

The winger Had the team's clearest opportunity before halftime, his shot excellently kept out by the Albanian keeper. As Quansah staying deep, it fell to him to stretch the play out wide but his crosses from the touchline were hit and miss. Substituted for the final quarter-hour. 6

The captain The match-winner with his two more finishes in an England shirt. The opener a trademark close-range tap-in and his next an excellent header following a clever run off his defender. At 32, he continues to improve and England stand a real opportunity in the upcoming tournament when he's in the team. 8

The attacker Struggled to make an impact out wide. Had a presentable chance when set up by Bellingham however the keeper denied him. His replacement had a greater an impact in his place. 5/10
