Vince Zampella, Has Died in an LA Vehicle Accident
The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in California aged 55.
The tragic news was verified by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.
The celebrated video game developer passed away following his car crashed and caught fire on a highway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This is an unimaginable loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's loved ones, those closest to him, and everyone impacted by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts commented.
